Before we cross
Harlem Park was where I met my floor, my shadow, my God, and myself.

I did not come here looking for a beginning.
I came here and discovered that one had already begun.
The first encounter / Floor
There is a difference between falling…
…and discovering where the floor is. Harlem Park introduced me to mine.
The second encounter / Shadow
With nowhere left to look outward,
I had to look inward. Some things were waiting for me there.
The third encounter / God
I was not alone.
The fourth encounter / Self
Myself.
After the floor, the shadow, and God, there was still someone left to meet.
